ReferFriends Terms of Use ("Terms")

Legal Notice

By accessing any part of the ReferFriends website (“Website”) via any platform (including mobile devices and tablets), you are deemed to have accepted these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to these Terms in full, you must cease use of the Website immediately. Access to the Website is prohibited for individuals under the age of 12 or for any user who has been previously banned. The applicable governing law is that of the Italy.

Copyright

All content on the Website is the intellectual property of ReferFriends. All rights reserved. Any reproduction of all or a substantial portion of the Website’s content in any form is strictly prohibited. No part of the Website may be copied, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of ReferFriends.

User Submissions

Users may be permitted to create a single client profile and submit referral codes, links, messages, images, requests, questions, recommendations, or other materials (“User Content”). ReferFriends reserves the right to publish, edit, remove, or reject any User Content for any reason. The use of bots and the posting of spam or promotional links are strictly forbidden and may result in immediate and permanent account suspension.

By submitting User Content, you grant ReferFriends a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, and publish such content, in whole or in part, as deemed appropriate at ReferFriends’ sole discretion.

You agree not to submit User Content that is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral rights, or any other proprietary or personal rights of third parties without prior express authorisation from the rights holder.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your User Content is accurate and factual. ReferFriends does not assume responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of any information posted by users.

We make reasonable efforts to monitor Website content and remove any material deemed unlawful, offensive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate, upon receipt of a valid notice.

Repeated posting of identical content or referral links, creation of multiple accounts for such purposes, the use of bots, bulk posting, or any submission deemed inappropriate may lead to permanent removal of such content and related accounts without prior notice or the right to appeal.

Newsletter & Notifications

When creating an account, you may receive periodic updates and newsletters related to your account activity and site developments, not exceeding two emails per month. You may opt out of these communications at any time, as well as notifications related to activity on your account such as new followers or referral confirmations. Notification preferences can be adjusted in the “Settings” section of your account.

Subscriptions

ReferFriends offers a range of paid services including, but not limited to, the promotion of individual referrals (“Boosts”) and enhanced visibility through “Premium Boost”. While we strive to process payments and activate services promptly, there may be delays in non-automated processes. Subscriptions remain active until cancelled by the user. No financial gains or returns are guaranteed from the use of paid services. All payments are final and non-refundable. “Extra Boosts”, when available, place a user in the first position of the public referral table for a given store (as viewed in private/incognito mode). “Basic Boosts” offer priority placement but do not guarantee a specific position. These services operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Non-payment may result in immediate termination of the service.

Advertising

The Website may include affiliate links and advertising. We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made via these links.

Data Protection

We collect personal data when you interact with or post content to the Website and its related services. This information may be used to deliver and improve services, personalise your experience, respond to inquiries, provide customer support, and for tailored advertising and marketing.

GDPR Compliance

Our data handling practices comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018. We are committed to both the letter and the spirit of this regulation. You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information as required by law. We take measures to ensure the accuracy and security of your data. The company that manages ReferFriends is registered with the Italian business registry.

Third-Party Services & Partners

If you choose to register or connect your account through a third-party service (e.g., Google, Facebook), we may receive information of the same nature as that collected directly from you. Additionally, we may obtain supplementary information such as demographic or fraud detection data from partners, which may be combined with existing information for service enhancement.

Cookies

Our Website, applications, tools, and messaging systems may use cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience, enable faster service, and deliver personalised advertising. These technologies may be provided by authorised third parties.

Account Termination & Social Logins

If you wish to delete any referral information or terminate your ReferFriends account, you may do so from within the account dashboard. All referral data can be edited or removed, and full account deletion is available in the “Settings” section. Please note that account deletion is irreversible.
